Hotes Foundation Would Like to Thank All Who Have Kept Baby Elijah in Their Prayers
The Hotes Foundation thanks with all our hearts the remarkable and loving responses and shares so many people gave to help this sweet little boy’s severe condition. His name is Elijah.
Because of the response, along with great support and help from Bobby and Sherry Burnette of Love A Child, Inc., arrangements for a surgeon to go to Haiti to perform the necessary surgery are being worked on.
We would like to thank Mr. Ernst Montoban and the Partners in Health team who encouraged us to contact Hospital Bernard Mevs. We want to give a special thank you to Scott Gillenwater at Hospital Bernard Mevs for putting us in contact with Ms. Rodgers, and would like to extend to Jennifer Rodgers, Head RN at Hospital Bernard Mevs, a special thanks for her dedication to helping this little orphan get into a place where he can receive care.
We also want to give another special thank you to Bobby and Sherry Burnette without whom this baby would have never had any chance at all of life. They adopted him when he was abandoned, (his full name is Elijah Burnette!), and he has been at their Love A Child Orphanage since being abandoned.
