It’s Harvest Season In Haiti!

Zilia Gallete and her team of Haitian volunteers picked more than 75 lb of eggplant at this week’s harvest! Built and maintained by Hotes Foundation volunteers and Haitian staff, the multi-acre farm produces a wide range of vegetables for the feeding program every week. The cooking staff, composed of women hired by the Hotes Foundation, prepared an eggplant feast for villagers to enjoy!

  1. What a wonderful way to give to the amazing hard working Haitians! The gift of farming and a talented cook who can make egg plant dishes that make my mouth water to look upon. You have to be very creative to think of this many ways to prepare and serve this food. I know the village enjoyed their plentiful feast. Hats off to all those who seeded, farmed, harvested and helped prepare this feast to behold for this truly blessed village. I hope that some of the NGO's that accept financial contributions see the success that farming has had for this well-feed village and take note. God-Bless each volunteer and all the hard working Haitians and the Richard Hotes Foundation for making this all possible.
